1. JAPANESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES FOR 2014
The Japanese government is offering Malaysian students scholarships to undertake undergraduate studies in Japanese universities for the 2014 academic year. The scholarship includes disciplines in Social sciences, Humanities and Natural sciences. The scholarship tenure is for 5 years and the applicant must be 17 to 22 years old by 1st April 2014, have a Malaysian address, completed O-level, SPM or UEC. Estimated monthly allowance of 117,000 yen will be provided during the tenure of the scholarship.

2. MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS (MIS)
The Malaysia International Scholarships (MIS) is an initiative by the Malaysian government to attract talented students from around the world to pursue post-graduate and post-doctoral studies in Malaysia. International students with outstanding academic records are welcomed to apply. The scholarship includes air ticket from recipients capital city, tuition fees, monthly maintenance allowance, book allowance, medical insurance, thesis allowance and visa.

3. CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIP 2013/2014
Chevening scholarship is a scholarship program of the UK government that provides opportunities to exceptional individuals with leadership potential to study in the UK. Chevening operates in over 100 countries worldwide. The program funds full-time post-graduate study for one year at a UK university of the students' choice covering monthly stipend travel cost (return) academic fees, arrival allowance and thesis grant.

4. COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP PLAN (CSFP)
The Malaysian Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) are awarded to nominated students from commonwealth countries to study at post-graduate level in Malaysia by the Malaysian government. The awards for Masters degrees spans between 12 to 24 months depending on the selected course. Students pursuing PHD degrees will have awards spanning for 3 years. The awards are provided to prospective students pursuing full-time degree programmes in Malaysia. Applicants should not be more than 45 years of age. The scholarship includes air ticket from recipients capital city, tuition fees, monthly maintenance allowance, book allowance, medical insurance, thesis allowance and visa.

5. MALAYSIA TECHNICAL COOPERATION PROGRAMME (MTCP)
The MTCP scholarship programme - one of the 2013 government scholarships - provide an opportunity for candidates to study in Malaysia. The scholarship is open to promising candidates interested in pursuing a Masters or PhD level study so as to make contributions to their home country upon completion of the programme.
Duration of the programme is 36 months for PhD and 12-24 months for Masters. Candidates should not be more than 45 years of age, gain a second class upper (3.5/4.0) CGPA for Masters. Same CGPA 93.5/4.0) applies to PhD applicants.
Value of the scholarship includes air ticket from applicants capital to Malaysia, approved tuition fees, monthly maintenance fees, annual grant for books and internal travel, medical/health insurance, thesis insurance, visa and termination grant.
